The Kailua Catholic Community of Learners (KCCL)
St. Anthony School and St. John Vianney School
KCCL is a member of the Hawaii Schools of the Future. We are honored to have received a grant for this initiative from the Hawaii Community Foundation and the Harold K. L. Castle Foundation in 2009-2010 and The Hawai’i Community Foundation in 2010-2011.
The Kailua Catholic Community of Learners (KCCL) represents faculty, students and community members as participants working together to build a community of learners dedicated to our students progress and academic success for a 21st century world.
The ultimate goal of our community is to continue to transform our existing practices to enable students to lead with a caring mind and serve with a connected heart. This means we will emphasize the roots of Catholic education, which are grounded in social justice practices, and where the wisdom within each student is encouraged.
This website is a working showcase of student projects, professional development that the teachers participated in, and information on the collaborative meetings the two schools shared.
